$143-million Commercial Development in Kingston Ontario Has Just Been Announced
Exciting news for Kingston! A $143-million development project for the community will include seniors housing, residential condominiums, a hotel, ground floor commercial space, public green space and, in the last phase of development, a mixed-use apartment building.

"The “REALTORS on the Run!” fundraiser, held on Oct. 29 and 30, 2020, benefits the Kingston Youth Shelter, a local shelter that offers services to homeless or precariously housed youth between the ages of 16 and 24. These services help youth stabilize, grow, develop and transition successfully into adulthood in a supportive and inclusive environment."
Non-perishables were also collected for the Food Bank during this event.

On Dec. 23, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT), which makes rulings on proposed developments, let the City of Kingston know that it is rescinding an Aug. 9, 2019 ruling on plans for tall buildings proposed for 51-57 Queen St. and 18 Queen St./282 Ontario St.
